  Our son, in prep has really enjoyed his first year at this school. There's been some negative rumblings about the principal who left earlier in the year and at one stage I was worried by rumours. I chose to ignore the negativity as what's most important is our son has thrived this year. We chose this school because it was small and we liked the family/community approach. The teachers have been excellent, the library more than sufficient and our son actively learning music, art and dance. I've read reviews criticising this school for not having state of the art facilities and technology. I'd rather my child be in a smaller school where all the students and teachers are familiar to both him and to us. A place where the older kids actively look out for the younger ones. I'd rather he have a book or musical instrument in hand than an I-pad. I'd rather him have plenty of space to run around and create his own fun. Nothing is more important to me than my child's learning environment and I'm comfortable I've made the right choice at QIC.
